This is proper pub food - the kind your nan would approve of. I'm not trying to win awards, just making sure you leave full and happy. Sunday roasts, pies, steaks - and kids eat for £2. Kitchen's open 12 til 9.

There's always something happening here. Steak Night Wednesdays, Quiz Thursdays, Bingo, Meat Raffle, live music - and The Open Table is a community breakfast where all are welcome. Check what's on and come join us.

On our doorstep

England's longest heritage railway – 20 miles of stunning Somerset scenery by steam train. Chug along the coast to Minehead, hop off at pretty villages, and there's a buffet car serving proper Somerset cider.
